Hiring process & way of working
At OnlineDoctor we want to ensure that every candidate gets a fair evaluation of their profile and skills. We care deeply about our team and value our hiring process as it determines how we build our future. We care about building a representative and inclusive workplace, which is open to talents irrespective of gender, race or religion. We strive for excellence and look for future teammates that share our passion for tech and healthcare.
The candidate experience
We are a digital health tech start-up and our hiring process is the same – agile and fully digital. All our interviews take place via teams.
Application
Apply with your CV and either a short video about yourself or a cover letter outlining your motivation for the job. For software engineers please provide us with your GitHub profile, where available.
Once you submitted your application, you will always receive an automatic receipt confirmation.
First interview
Your first interview with OnlineDoctor will be a short meeting with either the relevant team lead of the open position or our Head of People. You will get more information about our company and the role and be asked questions related to your work-life experiences.
2nd round
The second interview usually takes about an hour and aims to get to know you better. You will also get the chance to meet with various people from our team, your future team lead, other team members and at least one member of our Peoples’ team.
During the interview, we test for competence and personal fit. Software Engineers will be asked to complete a coding exercise. For other positions we will prepare a case study, which you will either complete at home or during the interview.
Decision making
Everyone you've met during the hiring process with us will come together and discuss whether you've met the expectations and they consider you a good fit for our team. The final hiring decision is made by the overall management team.
