Join OnlineDoctor: We're Expanding!
We are a fast-growing telemedicine startup focused on improving access to dermatological care. Our platform uses cutting-edge technology to connect patients with dermatologists, enabling them to take pictures of their skin issues and receive diagnoses and treatment plans remotely and asynchronously.
We’re looking for a Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer to take ownership of our internal operating environment and cloud platform and help us improve reliability, scalability, security, and user experience across our internal tools and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Own administration and continuous improvement of the Microsoft 365 suite (user lifecycle management, license management, groups/roles, feature configuration, integrations).
Serve as functional owner for Atlassian Jira and Confluence: advise teams on workflow design, set governance standards, and provide oversight of configuration and usage.
Build and maintain secure, reliable integrations between internal tools and external systems to streamline processes and data flows.
Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain and evolve AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, networking, CloudWatch) using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Design, provision, and operate infrastructure via Terraform; establish reusable modules and standards.
Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability practices to ensure platform stability and performance.
Contribute to or lead the design and operation of CI/CD pipelines and related automation.
Define and deliver a pragmatic improvement plan for internal tooling and cloud infrastructure with minimal oversight, including documentation and communication of changes.
Requierements:
Proven hands-on experience operating and improving cloud infrastructure on AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
Demonstrated expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies (modular design, environments, pipelines).
Strong understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD, observability, automation, release management).
Administration experience across Microsoft 365 (tenant-level administration, user and license lifecycle, groups/roles, feature enablement, integrations).
Practical experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence (workflow design, standards/governance, cross-team enablement).
Ability to work autonomously, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable improvements with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus:
Knowledge of security frameworks and controls (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) and cloud hardening practices.
Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (e.g., CloudWatch Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch).
Familiarity with data integrations from internal tools and platform sources; exposure to AWS AppFlow and Athena.
Experience supporting BI/visualization stakeholders (e.g., Qlik or comparable tools).
Experience supporting quality management processes aligned to ISO 13485.
